After receiving a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management from Hong Kong Baptist University, Jiayi Xu joined Chongqing University of Technology, China, as a managing editor of CAAI Transactions on Intelligence Technology in 2017. Jiayi has been on the council of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) since 2021. From 2020 to 2023, Jiayi volunteered for the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) as an associate editor and now serves as an editor. Jiayi has also worked as an advisory cabinet member for the Asian Council of Science Editors (ACSE).
